A-Abco's History and Passion

An auto recycling facility may not be the first business one thinks of when imagining the Twin Cities Metro area. But, a facility that continues to grow and thrive, offers a lifetime warranty on most of its parts, strives to protect the plant, works daily to reduce its carbon footprint, always puts its customers first and is a valued member of its community, is what you’ll find at A-Abco Fridley Auto Parts.

The original two acres on which A-Abco Fridley Auto Parts was first located, has been in the Haluptzok family since 1946. Derek Haluptzok purchased the business, then known as Bargain Auto Parts, in 1988. And just like the Twin Cities Metro area that surrounds it, it has been growing ever since.

With over a 100 employees processing over 5,000 vehicles per year, A-Abco Recycled Auto Parts has the ability to offer the automotive parts at a considerable reduction in price compared to the dealers, deliver the parts to any automotive shop in the Twin Cities, ship the parts across the United States and with an industry-leading warranty we are the first choice for many people, both near and far, that need auto parts.

A-Abco Core Values are evident in our daily practices in protecting our environment and planet’s resources. The auto parts recycling industry is also very earth friendly and we take great pride in being dedicated to recycling as much of each and every unused vehicle that we can to do our part in protecting the planet’s resources and protect our environment. Below are some examples of how A-Abco Recycled Auto Parts and our customers that used recycled auto parts are helping to achieve these goals.

  • As we process a salvage vehicle, the damaged parts are sent to various recyclers as raw materials to be reclaimed and the “quality tested and warrantied” parts are removed, tested, cleaned and prepared to sell to our valued customers with our industry leading warranties.
  • All parts are then tagged and placed in our database with a dedicated location so it can be quickly found for our retail and wholesale customers.   Search our database now for your needed automotive part in our online store by clicking on Part Search .
